Bargoed is a compact quarried wall with some worthwhile wall climbs which are of a fingery and technical nature. The routes are well equipped, and the rock is generally reliable and clean. This is a good spot for those looking for some good grade 6s with extremely quick and easy access.
Rockfax Digital brings together all the Rockfax climbing information with UKC logbooks and presents it into a user-friendly package for use on Android and iOS devices.
Needs a clean up as there is some broken glass and rubbish lying about (note to self - bring bin bag next time). However, the rock itself is pretty solid for SW sandstone and the routes are pleasant. Definitely worth a second visit. Jon_Warner - 12/Jul/15 | |
Good crag. Could do with more traffic. The harder climbs are quite bouldery. Paul Robertson - 02/May/15 |
