1. Climb the chimney with hard moves through the icicle fringed roof to gain the iced corner above (ice screw belay).
2. Exit left from the corner onto a ledge beneath an overhanging wall. Traverse left for 5m to a corner (this corner is shared with 1944 route).
3. Climb the corner then crawl right along a ledge.
4. Another short corner leads to the top.
