Rocktype Mica schist
Altitude 318m a.s.l
Faces SW

Crag features

Small crag of mica schist, with similar style to Creag na h-Eighe (steep but positive). Generally quieter than it's neighbour, and some routes stay dry after rain.

Approach notes

As for Creag na h-eighe parking, ensuring to leave enough room for passing tractors and not blocking field entrances. Follow the well worn land rover track towards Loch Ordie. As the track reaches a highpoint after 1.5km the crag is visible straight ahead.

Access Advice

As always watch out for nesting birds and avoid climbing nearby if present, also rare Hornbeam grow nearby so their presence can't be ruled out on the crag so exercise caution before removing any plantlife from the crag.

It is a bit ridiculous that the hardest part of almost very route is the top out. Very bushy! A fixed cord/chain in place at the top would be ace for abseil.

Some fine routes and certainly worth checking out if in the area. A few lines are being reclaimed by nature and drainage from the slopes can affect others.
