Important Notes Regarding Blatant and Blackwell Halt
Blackwell Halt - New land owner has removed access (April 2021). Please respect their wishes. More Access info on a Forum thread
Blatant Buttress - This is now banned and the restriction will never be lifted. Train drivers will report you to the police if you are seen here and this could well result in a criminal conviction. The climbs are only included here for people who climbed them in the past to record their activity.
Restricted Access
The landowner is not in a position to grant permission to climb. If you do decide to visit please leave the gate as you find it, do not bring dogs, and be aware you may be asked to leave – please do so politely and without complaint if asked. However, please be aware the CCTV equipment here is aimed at monitoring unapproved badger cull activity and incidental footage of climbers is not being monitored or retained.
