Routes mainly in the lower and mid 6s. Rock is very pleasant and unusual being of solid limestone with a profusion of calcite nodules and isolated sections of flowstone.
The crag is very open, faces South and gets any sun going.
The crag is just to the west of Wirksworth. From the centre of Wirksworth, go up the narrow road just right of Ken's Mini-Market and almost opposite the Red Lion. At the junction either branch will do, the right-hand branch is slightly steeper but also wider. Follow this up hill and out of the town to a hairpin bend where there is room for several cars. Go through the kissing gate and follow the track until it drops down into a dip with a wide gate on the left. Don't climb over the gate (it is covered with anti-climb paint) figure out another method. The climbing is on the face around and left from here.
