Crag features

On Bodafon hillside is a minor west-facing limestone escarpment with some neat bouldering traverses and esoteric trad micro-routes. The rock is perfect and the location beautiful, overlooking Llandudno Bay. A lovely spot to while away a sunny evening. An excellent endurance training venue with the hardest traverses often climable in rain.

Approach notes

Continue past the Little Orme parking spot on Bryn y Bia road, then turn left onto Bodafon Road and park carefully by the school, where the road splits. A footpath leads leftwards from the upper road to a quarried wall and a super lower-grade traverse, usually well-chalked. To reach the trad buttress continue up and right.

Restricted Access

Although the crag is on open access land please be considerate to local residence, if parking is tight on Bodafon road, parking is available on Bryn Y Bia road but if the crag is busy please head elsewhere.
