An old quarry located below a public footpath in a woodland 350m from Bolsterstone village. Surprisingly clean rock, but quite friable in places and down right structurally loose in others, with bands of weakness crossing the whole quarry. The lines recorded make the most of the solid rock available, often dropping off before the looseness is reached. The left hand side offers a little bouldering. Landings are often quite sloped, so bring a few mats to help flatten things out. The right hand side is taller, with a few trad routes recorded. The quarry has been climbed on for years but nothing has previously been recorded.
Park in Bolsterstone village. Head south along the main road until a public footpath is seen on the left. Follow this east along the top of the ridge line for 350m until the quarry is noted just below path.
The quarry is on private land (though adjacent to a public footpath) although the land does not appear actively managed. If you do decide to visit, please keep a low profile and leave if asked.
