Fiend feeling puny on the appropriately named Weakling's Wall, Brown Crag, Aberdeen © Fiend
A steep wall above a non-tidal platform. Good, well-protected climbing.
Some routes are prone to seeping.
If parking at the Bettridge Centre in Newtonhil, walk south behind the centre and go past the playing fields. After the playing fields, you'll encounter a farmer's field closed by a fence. Go over the fence and walk on the edge of the field (respect the crops) near the coast, until you've walked for about 400m and you find a large post by a big boulder (the fence is broken here). Leave the field at the boulder and walk south-west for another 100m and then aim down the slope to reach a grassy platform. The crag will be visible on the left.
