Crag features

Marked on 1:25k map as The Haven, the most obvious feature is the line of Fall Out Corner which takes the big left facing corner in the promonotory between the natural arch to the south and the main cliff to the north. There is also a sport crag here with several routes between f5 and 7b which have yet to be recorded, but the rock on the sea cliffs is reportedly better.

Approach notes

Find suitable parking near the derelict church in Bruan (no parking signs up in the car park by the new house as of August 2025 but there is room for one or two cars at a pull in 50m further west with a block and orange cone on the north side of the road). Go along the road for 100m and cross over to go through a gate and follow the fence down towards gorse and over a fence. Keep on in the same line over a fence to pick up the John O'Groats Trail and then go through the field heading for a stile and a signed viewpoint that leads down to the cliffs.

The sport crag is down a stepped gully on the right (fixed rope) and then continue straight out on the promontory to access Fall Out Corner, there is a large block about 20m back that can be used to abseil down the line. Scramble down the gully to the north to reach Bradley and Simon's Excellent Adventure.
