High quality multi-pitch slab climbing up to 200m high, often featuring water runnels. Bolted, but trad gear useful as they can be sparse. Walk off recommended but dodgy on a grassy, muddy slope when wet.
Approach time: 1 hour
This is one of the most idyllic venues I've come across in the Alps. The camp site in an Alpine meadow is amazing, though busy at weekends. There is even a micro-hut you can stay in (local enterprise). The descent from the crag (walk left when you finish a route) passes through the most wonderful wild flower "garden" I have ever come across. The climbing is good too. Rog Wilko - 23/Jul/18 |
