Approach notes

From parking on garden lane head north into the wood on a track where it slips take the right track. I follow this to just before the metal fence where there is a track down on the left into a field. Take this head in a north east direction to where there is another track over a gap in the fence. The quarry comes into view shortly. From here stay close to the fence. You will be able to make out the guardian block protruding out from the hill. The serpentine block is in the southern end of the quarry.
