Please refrain from climbing outside

Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.

We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

100m, 4 pitches. The crack is strenuous and it is even more strenuous to place the excellent protection that it provides! Finish up the summer line adding another hard pitch of climbing. Harder than White Magic.

murray 23 Feb AltLd O/S Day one of the international meet. Tom seemed to be shit hot on the dry tooling and had climbed Darth Vader on his only other trip to Scotland so I fired him straight up this! I took the continuation crack pitch through the roof which felt almost as hard, just a bit less sustained. Good torques, good gear, shit feet, good fun.

Brian Pollock 24 Jan, 2015 AltLd O/S Excellent sustained route and eats up gear. More bulldogs would help in the crack. Led 2, 3 & 4. Bit of faffing on the last pitch trying to find the "easy left trending crack" to exit.

el cholo 6 Apr, 2013 Lead O/S Brilliant route, super safe. I did it in two long pitches joining 1-2 and 3-4, continuing then to the top of Aladdin's buttress and down Aladdin's couloir.
