Crag features
This diminutive, south west facing, quartz-covered wall is just a short stroll from Manod Road. The rock is steep, compact and generally sound.
Approach notes
Follow the A470 south through Blaenau until just past Y Manod (pub) and park along here. Take the sharp left hand turn (SH 70741 45225) onto Diffwys Road. Follow this narrow road to its very end at a small parking area, where the crag is visible up and left. Follow the footpath uphill and, after 300m, the crag is on the left beneath a slate tip.
No Access Issues
A steep little crag within a short walk from Diffwys Road. From Blaenau follow the A470 South West just after the Manod Pub take a sharp left onto Diffwys Road. Follow this to the end, it can be narrow in places. Park up at the end of the road. There might be some issues with Parking, so parking further down or in the town itself might be easier. From the top car park the crag is visible just up the path (300m) below the slate spoil heaps.
