Rockfax Description
A bold slab to the right of the crack of Elephant's Walk. Climb the slab past two overlaps - gear to the right at the second overlap. Keep a direct line to a junction with Elephant's Crawl. The slab above is very bold. A sensible option is to follow Elephant's Crawl for a few moves to get gear for the top slab. © Rockfax

βeta: Stay away from the crack and go direct at the finish, which probably makes the top-out the crux. | βeta?

βeta: Taking the direct line up the slab this is problably HVS 4c. There is almost no protection, you might not ground fall from the crux but you are going to go a long way past some seriousely spikey lumps. You can move left into a crack with good gear and as the slab is pretty much the same everywhere, I suspect that's where the VS 4b and the easy for the grade comments come from. Sticking to the crack throughout is the the unmoderated route Sheep Shelter, a very pleasant well protected severe. | βeta?
