Approach notes
From Villefranche de Conflent head for Vernet les Bains then on to Casteil.
In the village of Casteil follow signs for "massive Canigou" and "Gorge du Cady"; after 500m there is a carpark (just before crossing the small bridge over the river Cady).
On foot follow the path out of the far left end of the parking area, passing between two waterboard buildings, towards the Cady waterfall, after less than 5 minutes the trail arrives at the foot of the first sector (Pilier St Martin).
