Climbing banned in Italy

Due to the ongoing spread of Coronavirus, Italy has banned all climbing. Continuing to do so not only puts people at risk, but can also put more strain on emergency workers. Please do not climb here.

Crag features

The crag is situated in gorge with walls up to 50m. On the left are a few spaced walls with mostly vertical grey rock and on the right a large cave covered in tufas.

Approach notes

Turn off the main road by a sign for a motor crosscircuit and continue down the track on the left until you reach a barrier. Park here. Go over the barrier and continue straight, passing a track on the right leading to a house. About 100m after this turn right through a gap in the stone wall and follow a track straight towards the edge of the cliff, passing some cement basins on your left. Now follow the path and cairns back right to the top of a gully. Go down the gully, sometimes with fix ropes and head left where you will see the crag. Approx 20min from the car.
