Start off the top of an obvious block (a paddle at high tide). Climb past 2 breaks before heading left then back right to a small ledge. Careful with the grassy top-out. Fence post belay.

βeta: Pretty sure this is the route we called Twisted Nerve back in Sept '90 (may have been '91). Definitely remember the grassy finish and it seeming a long way to a wobbly fence post! Really enjoyable moves in the middle, if I remember correctly after 30+ years. Wrote to Kev Howett (sp?) at the MCofS at the time to see if it had been recorded. Almost definitely been climbed before, as an obvious line off a wonderful beach, and I'm sure a certain Dr Patey would have passed it on many an occasion. | βeta? | |
