A nice little crag just outside Bourg St Maurice, located beneath the small chapel that sits on the cliff overlooking the town.
Easier climbs are to the left and right of a large overhanging central section. All climbs are bolted and climbs are graded - written in red paint near the first bolts, can be a bit difficult to see though! The left hand side of the crag is in the shade in the afternoon but the rest of the crag seems to get the sun for most of the day.
Most of cliff is not in the guide book, the rock looks brittle and there is evidence of a number of rock falls, although there are bolts on the main part of the face.
There is a smaller section on the far right hand side, next to an area you can park your car.
None of the climbs have names in the guidebook, they are only numbered. Main area has 1-17, far right area has 1-6
update August 2020 - Secteur de gauche routes 4-17 is fenced and not accessible, possibly due to rockfalls. Secteur de droite is available. Also it is possible to climb routes 1-2-3 secteur de gauche
update March 2021 - Secteur de gauche is no longer fenced off
From Bourg, follow signs to the Cormet de Roseland, the crag is on the left hand side and parking is directly next to the crag. The crag can be seen from Bourg, it has a cross and some ruins on top of it.
