UKC Logbook - 'Hispaniola'

18m. A dusty, esoteric line, usually guarded by guano-boosted thorn bushes - the lower half is a bird nest hotspot which should be left well alone March to July. At the right-hand end of the wall is a corner with steep orange rock on the RHS. Climb the corner with interest, negotiating a stiff move onto a jutting ledge (crux) around 6 m up. Avoid a mid.-height liaison with Tropic of C. by bearing back rightwards across a short hanging wall to gain the LHS arete of Ben Gunn. A leftwards independent finish up through perched boulders and over a muddy cornice completes the experience.
