Continue round the crag to the right from Conwy corner, near the end of crag, find oak tree 10 metres up the crag on a ledge, climb up easy steps to the right and traverse over to the ledge with the tree on it. Monkey shimmy up the tree to good holds and muscle your way up above the tree. Muddy slope to the tree belay.
Very overgrown.
When climbing tree do not use the left branches of the tree, as they are rotten.
When climbing tree and getting over, not much opportunity to place gear.
Can abseil from the tree belay, about 25 metres abseil.
Logbook says vdiff, but this is outdated as the tree is rotten on the left branches. A more recent grade would be comparable to vs 4c
