While located on private land, the landowner is welcoming to climbers as long as its small numbers using the venue, dogs strictly under control and on a leash at all times and no litter or damage caused to boundaries.  Please ask permission from the farmer at Coed Mawr Farm especially during lambing season.

Reason: Nesting Birds

Restriction for nesting Ravens and Kestrels apply to the whole of the left hand (Cheshire Cat) buttress only.

βeta: For clarification there are 3 replacement pegs on this route, they do not look to be glued in place and didn't detract from the feeling that this is still a trad route. Edit: It has come to my attention they are glued. My statement above still stands

βeta: Not sure how I feel about the pegbolts. They just look like really hench pegs to me. Couldn't tell if they're drilled/glued. Edit: Turns out they are. Bolts it is then.

βeta: Some strong comments about the pegs from people who know little about the history of the crag or the delicate access situation that has been resolved on their behalf. It is no coincidence that this crag has become popular recently after years of neglect.
