Cornflake Buttress © peteJ23

Crag features

The rock is steep and flaky, which gives a strenuous and fingery style of climbing. The routes can be sheltered from a strong westerly wind and they generally dry quickly. There are numerous ants in the area and care needs to be taken - leave your rucksack hanging from a branch and not on the floor where it will become covered in ants!

Not had much traffic, Lower Tier is slowly disappearing under moss.

Fantastic situation though.

Approach notes

Found close to the west bank of the river, a hundred metres north of the footbridge. An old dry-stone wall cuts the track, the crag is 25 meters diagonally up the slop from here.
