The Ice Hose, Ghlastail GTX © Colin Wells
A vegetated crag with limited rock climbing (one route so far) but fine ice climbs following watercourses and gullies. Despite the southeast aspect, a week's hard frost often allows the ice to form. Not good under powder but best when lean with a little snow. Ghlastail GTX is an classic given a half decent winter and Waterfall Gully deserves more ascents.
No climbing from March to July due to nesting birds.
