UKC

34m. Does exactly what the name suggests, following the obvious, striking, left-trending overlap in the middle of the clean lower wall on Tap Mawr. Very gentle for the grade but excellent climbing with continous interest. Escaping off the top (very tedious) is the only detriment - would be 3 stars with a fixed ab point. Enter the lower corner with difficulty to reach an overlap, move left and up to another overlap, then left and up to a faint groove. Lurch rightwards over the bulge to regain the main corner, then trend left on a quartz slab to a ledge. Climb around the left end of the roof and step right to a small belay. Escape "somehow".
