Spring in Coire Ardair © IainMunro

Crag features

After Ben Nevis, Creag Meagaidh provides the best venue in terms of quality and quantity of winter routes. Corie Ardair of Creag Meagaidh is 3km long and 500m high. However, conditions tend to be fickle.

Approach notes

Corrie is prone to severe avalanche conditions. There are avanlanche related accidents every year. Check the SAIS warning, and be aware of prevailing conditions.
