Routes up to 70ft generally with good pro. Most routes are in the VS-HVS grades. Sheltered by trees and so takes time to dry out after rain. Worth visiting.
Lies just S of Hebden Bridge. From the A646 go S to the railway station, and a hairpin bend.
Follow the second footpath beside a factory - leads to the quarry, 5 mins walk.
It's not really even worth muddying your shoes up to go and look... RobOggie - 04/Jun/15 |

Went for a look last week with a view to checking for new guidebook. Very vegetated but rock (what we could see of it) looked good quality. Needs a dedicated team of enthusiastic locals to look after the place. The reward could be at least 2 new modern classic wall climbs either side of Himalayan Balsam. Any offers? Visited 09, green lichen covering everything, overgrown. Some of the routes might have been climbable, but not too inspiring, didnt bother getting a rope out dunnyg - 14/Dec/09 |

I visited this in 2004, at the time it was covered in thick soaking vegetation, wasn't that easy to find either,. Mattyk - 30/Jun/09 |
