Rockfax Description
A great route with interest throughout with a mix of trad and fixed gear. Start near the left-hand end of the main wall below a high first bolt.
1) 5c, 28m. Climb up to a slab below a steepening. Clip the bolt and make a hard move to easier ground. Head up and left behind a tree and then take the groove up and right to a bolt belay.
2) 6a+, 34m. From the belay step right to a bolt and traverse right to a spike - bolt on the left. From stood on the spike swing back left onto the face to a jug. A stern pull gains the base of the groove. Follow this past some resting spots to the final challenging layback crack, belay on left.
3) 6a, 25m. Move right and undercut to a good break past a couple of bolts. Reach over to a jug and then head up a thin crack. Go up and left past another bolt at its top to a belay on the left below the large roof. © Rockfax
