Crag features
A long neglected venue from the 80's undergoing transformation. Mona Lisa F7a+) is the classic Andy Sharp fingery test piece and Completely Punked (E1,5b) is probably the best jamming crack in the area. Small and misses the afternoon sun, but the RH of the two quarries here has some good routes up to 15m.
Approach notes
From M4 Junction 34, take the A4119 towards Llantrisant. At the Tonyrefail roundabout, turn right towards Porth (A4233). Continue through Trebanog for 0.3 miles, then take the first left after the Farmers pub. Take the third right, which leads to a playing field. Follow the track on the left, then bear right towards the quarries.
| Went there today (21/4/12) to do Mona Lisa but it was overgrown at its base and also one of its belay rings has been removed with the remaining bolt appearing to have been hammered. KH - 21/Apr/12 |
