Rockfax Description
A hard problem above a bad landing. Place gear under the roof then use the sloping break above to make progress. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
The last ‘great’ problem of Deer Gallows. Climb the wall just left of the big boulder onto the ledge to begin. From the obvious hand slot in the bulging roof, place cunning gear (if you can find it) and make a long reach up to the nose of the hideously sloping shelf. The holds go from bad to worse… Lunge for the break, and then you can stand up on the shelf with relief; did you see how bad the landing was?
