There are bats nesting directly on route of Muskets Mantle as of 11/11/2023.
NOTE FROM CRAG MODERATOR: Access rope has been repaired - thanks Brendan! There is also an alternative route to the upper part of the quarry - a rough path starts more or less directly below the upper area
Start right of God Nose, at the lowest point of the buttress. Pull over the awkward hanging arete on to the slabby arete. Up this to an exposed finish over the overlap.

βeta: As mentioned on the available pdf topo, it is possible to take a pretty bad swing lowering off this, especially when cleaning the draws. Would recommend unclipping the 2nd draw after clipping the 3rd to avoid excess rope drag and wear! | βeta? | |
