I'm pretty certain that the photo is of a route on Tarn Crag in Langdale (above White Ghyll and below Stickle Tarn) -- the rock is generally clean, has a sunny aspect - pretty much like the photo.
The Tarn Crag with Dollywaggon gully is most definitely a winter only venue, North East facing, abounding in steep soggy vegetation for most of the year, and totally unlikley to give the sort of climbing shown. Alan Stark - 18/Jan/05 |
