Rockfax Description
Connect two flakes in the rear pillar of the back pinnacle, to the left of the arch. An ancient thread marks the line and this is usually pre-clipped from the left. Stop at the tree and abseil. © Rockfax

βeta: The threads are new. There is a very good Rock 2 immediately atop the first thread (the thread itself is around a rather thin bit of rock!). For the E5 tick, pre-clip this (first thread and wire) from the grove on the left. The tree is defunct but continuing to the summit in the same line is okay. It may be prudent to belay a bit below the top-out to incorporate additional protection in better rock. // There’s an abseil point around a large block forming the spine of the pinnacle, approximately opposite the col between the dual summits of the adjacent pinnacle (a short way down towards the river). | ||
