Patrick Hill 22 Aug, 2017 AltLd Very cold bivy and day - ice on many of the pitches and when the wind kicked up it was truely baltic. We O/S 8 of the 9 pitches. The final 7b+ was wet and icy. I found a sequence that worked and came very close to sending it. Amazing climbing, very run-out in places with a little bit of dodgy rock interspersed. Great day out . Take quite a few cams

Glyn 28 Aug, 2016 AltLd O/S Quality adventure! Great quality climbing hardly any loose rock. Streep and sustained. 9hrs from first access abb to top out. Sportingly bolted and very runout in places. We took a few small cams and small nuts, not that we managed to place much! Bivi on the Rotstock the night before. http://adventuresplusnorthwales.blogspot.com/2016/09/deep-blue-sea-7b-eiger-north-face.html

jonleighton 28 Aug, 2016 AltLd RP Fantastic climbing on every pitch, and a real endurance challenge for me to keep going given there were so many hard pitches. I managed to OS all my leads, but Glyn did the harder ones. Managed to OS all my seconds too except the last 7b+, fell off right at the start, pulled back on and did it to the top. An exhausting day out, we celebrated with rosti and beer :)
