Crag features
Close to the bolted climbing of Las Canadas is the spire of El Catedral. 1-4 pitch routes, mostly trad.
This crag is incorrectly named. In Spanish Catedral is a feminine noun so it should be 'La Catedral'.
Approach notes
Easiest access is from the Mirador opposite the Parador Del Teide
Restricted Access
Stick to the paths to avoid erosion on protected local flora and fauna, and leave no trace.
2024 restriction: Due to anual Mouflon (goats) hunting schedules, crags are banned on the following dates:
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 3rd to 31st May 2024, and 4th October to 4th November 2024, from 07:00 until 14:00 (Capricho) and until 17:00 (Catedral).
Also days 21st June, 18th November, 29th November, and 2nd December 2024.
