Elender Cove Slabs © Kafoozalem
Good quality schist slabs with excellent holds but the protection is sparse on some of the climbs. Thorn bushes make it a bit of a battle to reach the bottom but the views from the top make the effort worthwhile.
South-facing and quick drying. Non tidal.
From Kingsbridge, follow the A379 for 3 miles east to Frogmore where a right turn is signed to East Prawle. Leave East Prawle in the direction of the Prawle Point car park but at the top of the second steep descent, continue across the road onto a muddy track. Turn into the second field on the right and park.
Follow the higher Coast Path west for 600m and the crag is situated just above the path.
|Some ivy removed from the base of a few routes, but really does need a prune to access anything after Whispering Doom.
