βeta: Obviously people should climb routes however they like, but I don't think actively avoiding the crack on the right should not be regarded as the default way. Just use whatever is naturally in reach - it's still a totally different route to Mongrel Fox even if it shares some footholds, and more importantly it's a strong natural trad line at Fair Head, not some random eliminate.

βeta: Great sustained route. Solid E2. Doesn't feel any more eliminate than other routes on the prow, felt logical to not use the right crack or wall past it.
