βeta: Abseiling down into the cave was scary but awesome. The first pitch started off quite green and slimy but dried off further up. Not technically difficult but fairly strenuous. Lots of thrutching and snurgling your way up big cracks, there's a couple of slightly overhanging bits which seem quite daunting but are actually fairly easy once you find the jugs. It's fun to see the old chockstones placed in the cracks still solid 50 or more years since they were placed! We climbed this as a 3, made it a bit tight on the belay ledge but not too bad | ||
