Altitude 157m a.s.l
A great collection of big boulders and walls hidden in the woods. Many of the landings are uneven and/or high, so take an extra pad or two. At its best after a few dry days and in a East or North wind.
Park in the layby on the right hand side of the road, taking care not to block the farmer’s gate. Cross the road and go over a wooden style and follow the footpath uphill for a hundred metres or so. At the start of the woods look to your right to see the top of the Prism boulder. For the other areas turn left off the path and follow a vague path through marshy ground staying at the same height until over a little stream. Just after this pass a large fallen tree and then trend slightly uphill passing Bull’s slab on your left. Shortly after this the path heads more directly uphill to the base of the Pied Flycatcher wall. The main Fontainefawr block is a bit further up and left from this, crossing a fence and scooting along the top of a wall. The Grande Bleu wall can be seen above the main block.
Keep a low profile and noise levels down.
