From the Testa Grigia station head towards the Matterhorn - first over the Theodulhorn then the Furgghorn to finish at the old ski lift which has a couple of benches on the roof if the view is clear. The VF sections are short and only on the steepest and most exposed sections. Crampons are necessary. Descent is tricky - carry on towards the Matterhorn and descend from the final col down steep scree and snow slopes to pick up the path to Plan Maison.
