Normal route from Chabod Hut - 4 - 5 hours to the summit if feeling acclimatised and fit. Expect about 3-4 hours to return to the Chabod Hut. Leave at 4am to make it back across the glacier in good time at the end of the day.
Please be aware there is a new one way system at the summit. At the saddle 20m from the statue remove crampons and proceed below and past the statue. There is new ironwork in place for belaying if you wish. Having passed below the statue there is a new via ferrata, staple style ladder in place to reach the summit. Descend directly towards the saddle, there is more ironwork to assist this path.
