Birds: Beware of, and avoid, angry Herring gulls nesting on common exit to Airegin, Ostrichism etc. nest can easily be checked from the crag top (28 May 2016). May be a one-off nest, maybe not, please be considerate to the nesting birds and also be aware bird spotters regularly frequent the area.

Nest was there in 2019 as well, and another one at the top of the Aiguille. Both avoidable with care.

Large occupied Herring gull nest with angry dive bombing parents, situated on a tiny gendarme on the common easy exit to Ostrichism, Airegin etc. 3 eggs on 28/5/16. Best avoided until nest unoccupied, easy to check from the top
