Up to about 90m high. Nagasaki Grooves(E4) and Banzai Pipeline(E1) are the outstanding classics.
Originally dug out of the hillside. Vegetation returns with lack of traffic. Currently cleaned after much effort by Lakeland activists although Great End Corner looks very clarty.
No holds barred clean enough, september 2014
The recommended approach in the guide following the fence is very overgrown but if you follow the path out of the bowderstone car park onto the ridge ahead, go through a gate at the stone wall and follow the wall up to the crag, its not so bad and very easy to follow.
No Holds Barred is NOT clean enough. There is a heavy band of moss on last 20 feet obscuring/barring the line. Currently feels like E3 5c. Lobbed twice and had to abb off. liam gaston - 04/Jul/15 |
