Guisachan Falls from the abandoned hydro building © Robertgiddy
In very cold weather Guisachan Falls can freeze to produce a great ice fall which forms more readily than Plodda nearby. Well formed during the Febuary 2021 cold spell.
Park at a wee layby at NH291249 about 150m north of the sharp corner and stone bridge. Through the forest you can see the remains of the old footbridge over the falls. To get to the bottom cross the stream and walk NW away from the falls until you can steeply descend back down to the bottom.
