The first pitch begins with an icy section that gradually narrows, leading into a crack that can be well-protected using cams; there are no bolts until the belay which has two bolts.
The second pitch is significantly more challenging, a blend of strength and technique. It requires at least eight reverse axe placements on somewhat insecure footholds, finishing with a short but delicate vertical ice column. The pitch is equipped with bolts and pitons, with the belay at a tree equipped with a sling and carabiner.
Definitely a tough onsight.
