Rockfax Description
This is a phenomenal route that is easy to access and follow. From the moment you clip the first wire you are pretty much following it to where it breaks off right to escape to two amazing cable bridges. One 30m and another a massive 100m.
1) Three rock and staple sections, separated by a cabled-walked through woods over small but loose stones, leads to the Cueva Jabali.
2) Another rock and staple section leads up a ramp to ledge system. This is where route 2 heads up and this route starts to head down and right along a sloping ramp signposted Puente (bridge).
3) After 50m you reach the first of the cable bridges - three wires and a safety line. It is hard to exit this bridge and requires using hand holds on the wall on the left.
4) A short steep section leads to an easy traverse to reach the massive suspension bridge. If you remember Indiana Jones and Temple of Doom, then try to forget Shortround saying 'hold on lady, we are going for ride!' as you cross it. The safety line is very high and you are best taking a couple of long slings to clip this and using your shock absorbers on the hand lines. Otherwise forward movement at the far end of the bridge is near impossible.
Descent - From here follow the cable to the start of the descent path. The path doesn't go down that much and at times rises, however despite being mark it can be easy to lose the path. But essentially follow the path carefully across the hillside to a road that leads down to the centre of Hermida. © Rockfax

βeta: The 100m bridge, the slats were slipping on the descent and ascent leaving rather large gaps between, adding some spice! The safety line was definitely too high, too.
