150m. A brilliant outing. Not an easy 3, prob more of a 4 really. This is supposedly the first of the Ferrata put up in the area - it includes an optional finishing zip-line that needs a pulley and, if more than one of you, a 25m or so thin line that the second can drag back (the ferrata shops will hire out that bit of kit for a nominal fee - worth it). Access: Cross the bridge to the north side of the river and then follow the path beside the river to the start of the route just above river level. Ascent: A short chain bridge accesses a steep opening section. Thereafter, a tremendous if very physical and long traverse high above the river follows. A bay at the end of the traverse allows recovery. Thereafter pleasant and steadier climbing to the mini-summit. Follow the obvious path snaking down from the summit to the great fun zip-line across the river. (If not doing the zip line, walk upstream until a steadier part of the river can be crossed.) A path on the other side accesses the road.
