βeta: I climbed the obvious line up the slab left of The Borrowdale Stare, was it this or Deerest? Don't see how you can fit two independant lines up here anyway. Took the steep corner at top left of slab to finish, quite vegetated but cleaned it thoroughly afterwards on abseil - should be much better for next person. Rest of route on slab looks dirty but is fine - all the holds are clean. Steady VS 4c up the slab with HVS 5a crux finale. Excellent climbing, better than The Borrowdale Glare | βeta? | |
