Crag features
Extensive broken crag on hillside above Spout House Farm 1Km up the road from George IV Pub. Main feature is a clean sweep of rock enclosed in a short wide gully.
Approach notes
Approach from Fishground campsite where a permissive track leads past a small pool, over the railway and up to the crag.
In mid-summer the recommended approach above is awful. The path is very hard to locate - head high ferns, brambles, bog plus ticks and midges. May be best to approach from above, starting at Eskdale Green station.
