Crag features

A large rhyolite boulder on the western slopes of Mount Coree offering the hardest sport climbing to be found in the Australian Capital Territory. The crag is 12 m tall and well-shaded, staying cooler in the summer than most others in the area.

Approach notes

Mount Coree is the highest point in the Australian Capital Territory (1421 m) and marks the border with New South Wales. To get there, drive to Picadilly Circus, then take Two Sticks Road (graded gravel) in the direction of Mount Coree campground. Continue ~850 m past the intersection with Curries Road and park below a scree slope on the right. The crag is 30 m up this slope.
