15m. Hyperittfossen is the main waterfall in the Gorge of De Geerelva. Icefall forms throughout winter and can be climbed from November to May depending on temperatures and snow melt. The fall handles some serious water tonnage through summer, where discharge of a 2km wide river valley narrows to some 4m at Hyperittfossen (hence the name). The route is best climbed early in the season when it is steepest and not banked out with snow that often fills the gorge.
